We had such a lovely stay at Zia Homestay! Our initial room had a small issue, so the host offered to upgrade us to another room, which turned out to be a full size apartment! Absolutely amazing customer service. Besides that the lady was so friendly. I wouldn't call the accomodation luxury, but it has everything you need as a backpacker. Comfy bed, it's reasonably clean, hot shower, AC, well equipped kitchen area etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Location is amazing, you have a lovely beach right at your doorstep. Anne is the loveliest host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She went above and beyond everyday to make sure we were comfortable, happy and having fun. The beds were so comfy and we felt like we were home the minute we got there. The kitchen is great, you’re close to all the shops and a short drive to the best surf spots. Such a lovely spot and experience, thanks to the rooms, location but mostly Ann.

The overall experience was disappointing. The internet connection is poor in the rooms themselves. There's a significant noise issue since the walls are replaced with windows - you can hear everything, making it impossible to have complete quiet at night or during the day.
The kitchen situation is particularly concerning from a safety perspective,, guests must physically light the gas cylinder and remember to manually shut it off after use. While the staff seemed to consider this normal, it's extremely dangerous! I hope they've addressed this safety hazard by now.
The property appears aesthetically pleasing and there are good intentions, but they lack understanding of proper hospitality standards. The place has a lot of potential if these fundamental issues are addressed.
