Everything. 😊 we had a big Appartment with a balcony. The pool is great, especially as there are nearly no hotels with pools in Bantayan. Location is super, in walking distance to an amazing beach and just a very short tricycle ride into town. Jürgen and Rhynie are super nice and always helpful. And Bantayan is a very beautiful and local island. We loved it.

The location is excellent. It's a 2 minute walk to the beach and 3-5 minute walk to restaurants. There are no signs (it's opposite the red and blue wall, down the path by the other red wall - Google maps is correct) but most tricycle drivers seem to know where it is. A tricycle ride from the port should cost 20-100 pesos depending on your negotiation skills. It's only 2km away. The property was quiet. I liked the free water refill station, communal kettle, coffee (but there's no tea), shared dining table and balcony chairs.

Paul was a great host, he helped us organize bikes, as well as taxis and gave us recommendations when we asked. The place was comfortable and clean, the ac was good and there were electrical sockets next to the beds. There was a place to hang your wet swimming stuff outside and the shared kitchen had all the basics one could need to cook. There was also a water refill station. Would definitely come back!
Darren is such a great host. He told me everything about the island and where to eat good food outside. Moreover the paradise beach is just 10 min away by walk. You can rent also a scooter for affordable price. When you check out he drops you off by a free ride. If I come again I will book for sure in his place.
Had a wonderful four night stay at Skott’s. Lovely host and staff. Our room was large and really comfortable, with a nice sitting area/tv and an outside terrace. Wi-Fi was decent.
If you don’t mind walking, it’s 10-15 mins to the ferry terminal, and 25 mins into Santa Fe. It you want to explore the island, a motorbike is a good idea. We got ours from the hostel next door (500 pesos/day).
The host Gennna was very kind and great host. She make sure all my questions was answered and definitely did an above beyond her duty.
Enjoyed it immensely.
