This is a great budget place to stay, only two blocks from the plaza in a quiet street. I was in a front room and had big windows looking out to a great view of the lake that received gorgeous sunshine in the mornings. Hot water at night. And a lovely helpful friendly family. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed staying at Ricardo and Cynthia's lodge! The bedroom is huge, very clean and comfortable, and the bed on the balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with their lovely dogs. The large and comfortable bed is a plus, considering it is much more common in Peru for hotels to offer double beds instead of queen or king sizes. Ricardo and Cynthia are lovely hosts, providing information about local culture and arranging tours for their guests. They also prepare meals there at a fair price.
If you want a phenomenal home stay experience on Uros - stay here! The views were beautiful and facilities were clean. The shower had hot water and great water pressure.
Moreover, Raul was extremely welcoming and gave a great local tour where he showed us the Uros way of life. His wife / sister also cook tasty food, with eggs and trout straight from his own farm.
Luis is a really good host! He’s always there to help. Its a really nice opportunity to learn about the Uros. The room is really clean and the bed is comfortable.
Our stay with Isaac and his family was phenomenal! Isaac was a great host, who made sure we have everything we need for our stay. He ensured to give us a glimpse of the live on the Uro islands. He took us fishing and showed us the lake on a boat tour. The Lodge is really special, overlooking the magical Ticitaca lake. The nights are very cold, but our host made sure we have enough blankets and bottles with hot water. 10/10 we can recommend to stay here.
Absolutely beautiful location!
Sun bed (with comfy mattress) on the deck outside the room to while away the time on watching the boats pass by, with friendly locals and tourists alike waving and saying hola.
Manuel was super helpful from booking to check out and the food, home cooked by his wife (I didn't catch her name), was delicious! There was even a kayak we could use and spend a couple of hours out on the lake. Couldn't recommend this stay more!
My husband and I booked this beautiful lodge located on the Uros Islands, our experience was very nice, during the night it is cold and there are enough blankets to keep you warm, it is worth staying and good hosts, the cost of the transfer is 20 soles per person recommended.
