I had a good overall experience, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The windows didn’t close properly, which meant I had to deal with mosquitoes and even some large spiders at night. Additionally, the water temperature wasn’t as hot as I would have liked. However, given the hot and humid climate, cold showers can be refreshing, though they might not be ideal for early morning or late-night use.

Dina and Mario were super nice. They made us breakfast and gave us a tour to Cocalmayo Hot Springs and Vertikal Ziplining across the valley. It was epic! Super nice people. I am coming back for sure.

This property was absolutely perfect for our two night stay in Aguas Calientes. The staff were nice and very helpful. The management has clearly thought of those things that make a traveler's stay comfortable and effortless. Check in was smooth and we were greeted with sweet personalized welcome snack bags. But more importantly, the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows, hot water, good wifi, thoughtfully placed furniture to accommodate our belongings (nightstands, lamps, closet, plus lots of hooks to hang things). It even had a little table with chairs. They even thought to put a small pair of scissors in the bathroom to open the shampoo packets. We also appreciated the TV that you could watch from bed, the hand soap from a dispenser rather than having to use the little soaps and the hairdryer. The place is also perfectly located across from where you buy your bus tickets and line up for the buses, across the street from the pedestrian bridge that goes to the train station, and easy access to many good restaurants. We didn't need to leave bags, but I would have felt perfectly comfortable doing so as the place has good security. As a frequent traveler, this attention to detail and to the traveler's comfort is greatly appreciated and I want to thank Pablo's House for a great stay and highly recommend it.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.

Ok breakfast, nice staff and overall a good value for money.
Everything from the location, the staff and cleanliness of the hostel was great. Had an amazing few days with Antonella, Olivia and Santiago among other staff. The food was also delicious. I definitely recommend this place if you want to really come and enjoy what it means to be in a great hostel.
A really good hostel for a night between visiting Machu Picchu. A nice breakfast was served super early and free coffee and hot water were available. You can leave your luggage while doing the hike!
Dante was our lovely host and made our stay so comfortable and relaxing. He was extremely accommodating and allowed us to have a late check-out due to the fact that I had an online meeting and it was easier in the room. He was helpful, kind, and informative and the room was cozy with a huge Netflix TV! Would definitely stay again!!
The owner is very keen to accommodate guests' needs. When I asked to change room, I think he moved himself out of a room to give it to me. The hostel is in a slightly less touristy part so you mostly only see locals on the street which is nice.
Comfy accommodation in an amazing part of the world. I liked that we were not in the middle of the hustle and bustle, and closer to more traditional shops, restaurants etc where locals worked, ate and played.
Nativus was a lovely hostel! We thoroughly enjoyed the views from the upstairs area and the pool table. The rooms were spacious, and the shower was hot with very good pressure. The breakfast was good (rolls, eggs, jams, hot beverages and fruit). The staff also packed us a breakfast the day we hiked up Machu Picchu- a really lovely touch! It is located close to the train tracks but that didn't bother us at all as we didn't hear the train running at night. Would definitely stay again- good value for money!
