These are little concrete cabins set around a pool. The best is the spacious bathroom with a great shower. The room is large with a pool view. Nice chatty owners. Pool is quite big and relatively clean. There are lots of fruit trees in the garden. The breakfast is classic you get in Perú but more tasty, homemade style and the coffee was better than usually. The surroundig is a bit rough due to concrete surface around the pool. The hotel is middle way between the town of Ica and Huacachina about 20min walk both ways.

Although a bit run down, the hostel had a nice, shared back garden area with a small, clean swimming pool and a reasonably priced (quiet) bar.
It was off the main run, so it was quite quiet. The internet wifi was generally good, but did drop a couple times.
Breakfast was basic, hot water for coffee (no tea offered), orange juice (squash?), fresh bread, margarine, jam and a small scrambled egg.
Our room had a large window that could be opened to let the air in, and there was also a fan.
The shower was hot.

Desert Nights started off as a good hostel. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable, and the music cuts out at a reasonable time. Location is fantastic in relation to the lagoon, and the staff are absolutely DELIGHTFUL. They let us check in at 6:30am after a horrible night bus, which meant we could shower and sleep- we are incredible grateful for this!!
This is a great hostel/restaurant that has a fantastic team of super friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable, and its location was far enough away to ensure a relatively quiet night's sleep.
The building decor was great, lots of wood and features that gave it a very authentic and rustic feel. The living area was very spacious with comfy sofas and plenty of natural light, and the kitchen that was free to use was a nice added bonus. Plus, it had free water refill.
Great hostel. Room was excellent with a big bathroom. Very clean. Good facilities. I enjoyed sitting on the roof terrace where it was quiet.
