Nadia and Salvatore are such gentle and joyful persons. And they have created a beautiful place. I cannot even remotely imagine how much work they put in this place everyday. The house is large and has several terraces surrounding the rooms. You can either enjoy the gardens or the sea and rest there for some time. The two cute cats roaming the premises also add to the homely athmosphere. House, garden and restaurant are designed with love to detail, it is very tasteful. By the way, the romantique restaurant, in which Salvatore and Nadia cook themselves, deserves a Michelin star. They serve the best italian food in all of Panama in a cozy athmosphere right by the sea.

It’s really a lovely hostel right at (above) the water. My room was really great and felt way bigger than it looks on the photos. The owner and the staff were super friendly. I can recommend the happy hour 🤣
Loved staying at Skullys. Great spot. Very well thought out and welcoming. The dorm rooms are amazing, built like the inside of a ship! Very well equipped kitchens and good food storage. Staff are very professional and helpful. Activities going on which the locals come to so great place to meet people. Restaurants on site, can be a bit hit and miss. It’s 3kms from town but only a short taxi ride which they can organise for you.
My stay was amazing - great hosts, delicious food, super peaceful on the island. You can go paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, snorkelling - all from the house.
Each house has a small gardenarea around it which is covered so it feels very private.
There is also a pool !
You can't leave the place to go to any shops because the only way out is by boat, which feels very luxurious !

Positive vibes from locals in general - mostly hardworking and pleasant people. Unfortunately and in contrast to the general vibe of the islands, our host was extremely rude. We would suggest that you go give your positive energy, enthusiasm to travel and money to other professionals in the region who better deserve that.
Excelent choice in Bocas Town. Very good location. Close (by walk) to main boat docks and restaurant and bars. In pool area is very good chilli vibe. Staff is really nice and helpful, especially on recepcion. They organized everything for us, even the tours and boat took us on the hotel pier (so you dont need to negotiate with locals on street).
Sally&Mike are great hosts, we felt like at home and the room has a nice cottage vibe, breakfast was delicious. All our never ending questions were answered , which we are grateful for 🙏 Worth to mention: filtered water available, also a little kitchen, complimentary bikes and kayaks.
