Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Location in the middle of Nizwa, can reach anything by foot. Hotel has an old charme, room directly on the pool was spacious.
Shahid from the staff was amazing, he was a great host and more then just nice! Would stay there again, just because of him.
The building was in the historic Old town of Nizwa. A fantastic labyrinth of old buildings with lovely gardens and hidden spaces. All worth exploring. The Architects or Locals are trying to do something magical here, an so far they ae getting unit right. Long may the project run..

This is a cosy guest house with large windows, green backyard and BBQ terrace, located close to the old city centre. The neighbourhood is quiet and very green. Mohamed is a great host, who welcomed us with open heart, guided us through old Nizwa and showed all major sights and cafes. We absolutely recommend this place!

A great hostel - simple but has everything - tea, coffee, washing machine with free detergent, kitchen, communal space. Great host who even made a yoghurt dip with bread for us all to share in the afternoon. Individual lockers to use.

I mean, it isn't the cleanest, but you get free drinking water, coffee, washing machine, parking and are 5mn walk from the center, how much can you ask?
Definitely the best hostel in Oman.
Huge and very comfortable. Hot shower and fridge /TV / Kettle. A short walk to the old quarter / Nizwa Castle Fort (5 mins). Perfect for our 2 night stay for visiting Jabreen Castle, Bahla Fort, Misfat al Abriyyin and the Jebel Shams mountains. Free parking right outside. On first floor with a lift or short staircase. Lovely and quiet with great air con for a good nights sleep. Sadiq was a great host and would highly recommend. Thank you 🙏🏻
Mr. Sadiq is a great host. Neat room,good hospitality. Centrally located.Just remember of you want to visit Nizwa then it is prime location. But if you are just staying on your way to Salalah then plz keep in mind, it will take sometime for in& out of the town
