Close to Picton Town, hotel in Picton

Located in Picton in the Marlborough region, Close to Picton Town has a patio. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

A large brick house with plenty of indoor space which was light and airy. The art work gave it an original feel that matched the furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed and even milk in the fridge and ice in the freezer. The settees were amazingly comfortable as were the beds. It was handy have 2 seperate toilets. The decking had a sunny aspect but looked onto the police station and railway.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite. Thanks so much, Tanya and Shayne

Really well appointed and well equipped accommodation, great views, thank you Lisa and Robert for a fab stay and the homemade treats. The location was great as we explored the Sounds and Wineries by day and walked into town on an evening for dinner, only a 15 minute walk. Would stay again.

Our room was spacious, clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was comfy, nice linen, sky tv and bonus cookies. It was an easy walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. Our ferry sailing had been delayed and the lovely host let us leave our car in the carpark for a few hours. Much appreciated.

Fern and her Mum are great hosts. Warm and friendly and they are prepared to go the extra mile for you. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Jams and stewed fruits served with breakfast are all made on the premises. They allowed me to sit in their lounge until I had to go to check in for my ferry.

The location was perfect for me close to central but a little removed also. Could easily walk to restaurants and other attractions. Ambience of the homestay was like being at a friend's house.

The apartment is generously sized and very comfortable. It has everything you need to be self catering if you want to be but the bar menu next door has lots of options at reasonable prices. Despite the cold outside, the apartment was really nice and warm even without extra heating on. It was nice to have access to a washing machine as well. George is incredibly friendly and welcoming and we appreciated the free welcome drink and getting to meet some of his locals in the pub next door.
