Loved the layout and even though we didn’t bring our bikes this time it would a great place to stay if we were doing the Kawatiri Trail

We stayed one night on our travels between Greymouth and Seddonville. Really nice grand old home with the biggest Pohutakawa tree you've ever seen. Lovely garden. Very close to one of Westport's main streets Palmerston, at just a block away for food and drink and a New World supermarket. Try the West Coast Pie Co they are some of the very best I've had. Plenty of street parking. David and Diana were very happy, accommodating and super friendly. They were excited to have photos with us in front of their thriving garden before we left!
