Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious. I chose the Queen room which was a good size and had its own bathroom. I was impressed by the hair dryer as it was good quality .. not cheap and nasty like some hotels provide. A bottle of fresh milk in the fridge. .
Would stay again if in this region The meals at the pub were fabulous. There are not many cafe/restaurants to choose from in this country town so the pub provides good meals and well patronized by the locals.
What a surprise to find such a delightful apartment in Amberley. Super quiet and private and had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable stay. Lovely hostess who was so friendly and helpful. We arrived later at night and she had placed the heater on to warm up our room. Much appreciated. The super powerful shower was a bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Christchurch. Within easy commuting distance.
Location was excellent. We were able to walk to numerous restaurants/bars or takeaways. Wayne was a great host, very welcoming. Our accommodation was above expectations, very roomy, really well equipped, clean and warm. We had a great nights sleep after a day of travelling.
Rural oasis of calm and tranquility. Lyndal & Steve were great hosts and made us very welcome. Lots of lovely home made treats for breakfast. A real home from home. Even accompanied Steve to evening feeding time for the hens, ducks, hats and sheep.
A lovely small complex with four private units extending from a private home with beautifully manicured lawns. Very peaceful and comfortable with all you want for a night's stop when travelling. Easy walk into town for dinner at the Amberley pub, good supermarket nearby to stock up and great Little Vintage cafe for an excellent breakfast among the locals.
