Shardul and Ankita (and others as well) were very helpful and friendly. It is a good place to combine relax with jungle explorations: one day you explore and get impressions (and Shardul will definitely help you to see tigers and other animals), another day you just sit on a terrace relaxing and go for breakfast/lunch/dinner from time to time. Then you can repeat :-) The hosts will help you with everything you want.

Staying at Bardia Jungle Resort was an incredible experience from start to finish. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel welcome and comfortable. The spacious rooms surrounded by lush greenery, fruit trees, and the gentle sound of the river created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
The safari was truly exceptional! Our guide's expertise and passion for the wildlife brought the jungle to life. We had the incredible luck of spotting a majestic tiger, along with rhinos, elephants, and countless bird species. The guide’s knowledge, combined with his deep understanding of the park, made this an informative and exciting journey through Bardia’s wilderness.
The resort’s commitment to providing an authentic connection to the local culture, as well as its integration into the heart of the village, made our stay unique. Experiencing the Tharu culture up close, along with the amazing wildlife sightings, was truly a one-of-a-kind adventure.

Mukti and his family were really welcoming and provided us with all information and delicious food. The room was nice and we especially enjoyed the warm blankets at cold night temperatures in January. Mukti and his family are very caring and they are always ready to help. In addition, Mukti offers various kind of safari options in Bardiya National Park which we very much enjoyed. All in all it was an amazing experience and a great decision to stay here.

Nice place to explore bardia Nationalpark! Hukum, the owner, is a guide and offers all kinds of experiences at an attractive price.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Lovely homestay with spacious airconned rooms - a necessity if you are coming in the summer! Family were all super lovely and went out of their way to help - Sharduls wife Anku even accompanied me to the nearest mall when I needed some clothes for the hot weather.
Everything is organised by the homestay including meals, safari, transport etc. Shardul was more than happy to help me plan my trip onwards too. Would recommend if you are visiting Bardia.

The garden is beautiful and there is a nice area to sit relax and eat the delicious food (which is fresh and different every day).
I did a 2 day safari which was also amazing! The owner of the homestay guides and he is really passionate about it! He tried everything to show us the best sightings possible.
In general I can say that it is a lovely place with really nice people!!!
Definitely would recommend and come back!!
If you would like to stay in a true Nepali homestay, Nanu and Kali’s place is amazing. They offer a very pure, yet comfortable experience. They have two rooms for rent, and live on the property themselves. Nanu will be able to guide you on hiking safari’s as well for a good price. Apart from that the food is amazing. :)
Would 100% recommend anybody looking for a Nepali experience to go here!
I had the best time at the Homestay! Shardul and his family were so welcoming. The rooms are really nice and the beds are really comfortable (best sleep I had in Nepal!). The food was excellent as well! I did three safaris with Shardul. He always gave his best and was really motivated for me to see as much as possible. He is really good at his job because we had many amazing sightings of Tigers, Rhinos and so own. Can 100% recommend!

Bardia Eco Friendly homestay is in a beautiful location, the family is super friendly and the tours they host are great. The room is very clean and comfortable and the meals ars very tasty! Would definitely come back.
This homestay was beautiful! Surrounded by nature and farmland it feels like a little hideaway. The best part is that this family takes such care of their guests and treats them like family. The safari with Shardul and Shiva was wonderful and I highly recommend. I hope I can come again one day. 🙏
Me and my friend spend 4 amazing days at the Bardia Eco friendly Homestay. We also did a one day jeep safari and slept one night in a tree house near the dschungel. These where also two wonderful experiences, which I would definitely recommend.
The Homestay was very beautiful and we felt very comfortable.
The people been very courteous, friendly and welcoming what made us feel like at home.

I had a great stay! The guides make their best to meet your fauna & flora watching interests. The food is good, the room is simple but comfortable, and Sonja is a great host. She provides all the assistance you need before and during the stay. If you wanna a nice safari or jungle walk experience in Bardiya, or just a relaxing time in the countryside, go for Bardia Homestay! Highly recommended

A tasteful mix of glamorous abode in the village combined with regulated indulgence, eco-friendly diligence, and decadent home-style pampering! This is probably one of THE best home stay we have ever stayed in!
