1. Everytime I had a question and sent it to the host, I received a swift and comprehensive answer.
2. Everything in perfect conditions, thoroughly cleaned and cared after.
3. Warm--it was a pleasure to come back into comfortable warmth after a winter day in the open air.
4. Kitchen 100% equipped, tea, sugar and other nice little things.
5. It is a hostel, but the guests happen(ed) to be amazingly calm and quiet, no disturbances whatsoever.
6. Location isn't particularly central, but a 10 minute longer walk to reach the town center never felt a distance.
One of the few places I totally enjoyed without a slightest displeasure.

I stayed for a few nights to explore Stavanger and to go for day hikes around Lysefjord.
What I liked:
- free parking next to the apartment,

What a great little Boathouse! Great atmosphere, gorgeous view, lovely neighbourhood- what is there not to like? Feels so far away from the city but only took a few minutes to be there. Great host with great communication- we loved it! This little cabin was so different from our other holiday accommodation - so relaxing!
Great apartment equipped with everything one could need, everything so clean and bed is comfortable. Great plus that it’s close to a swimming spot right next to the fjord, you can see it from the apartment. Torbjorn was a great host that was easy to communicate with and he was just super helpful and hospitable.
Really lovely B&B. Paul & Wenche were great hosts - we arrived early in the day and Wenche was quite happy to store our bags until our room was ready. Great location, only 10 minute walk down to the harbour area, 5 minutes to bus & train station.
There is a small kitchen area for guests to use with fridge, microwave & kettle. Wenche puts on a great selection for breakfast and guests all sit together round a large table.
Would highly recommend.
