It's a simple place but for that price it's fair what you get. The room would need some redecoration and repairs but it doesn't really affect the stay - just the visuals. We had a very comfortable budget stay. It's the host's house so you share the bathroom and kitchen with him and other people leaving there. Kitchen was always clean, bathroom could be cleaner but to be honest it's just normal usage dirty (my bathroom is not perfect everyday either). Super easy and fast to get to the center of Oslo - short bus ride and then a train which takes you to the center super fast. I would definitely stay again.

This is a great location right next to the large Olympic ski jump arena. The historical villa is very tastefully furnished. There was also a communal kitchen which came handy for making our own breakfast. The room was great! There is also the T-line train near by connecting easily the location with the centre.
