The living room / kitchen area is very nice (only shared with one other double room) and we enjoyed dinner with mountain view. The shower is great, everything is very clean and even laundry would have been included. The owner is superfriendly, very helpful and allowed us to hang our soaked tent outside.

This is a beautiful and authentically renovated 150 year old Fisherman's cabin (rorbu) directly on the water and far from the tourist crowd. It is a real rorbu experience in contrast to many of the 'rorbu' being rented to tourists that are liItle more than overpriced red cabins. is located in a tiny village reached by a long dirt road. The village is being carefully restored, preserving the history and character of the buildings while offering modern amenities. The cabin actually has its own shower and washbasin. However the toilet is outside in an outhouse--a common pattern for Scandinavian hytte. There is also a communal kitchen for cooking.. It seems that there might be some additional renovations planned for the rorbu:a small kitchen in the cabin and indoor toilet one day.

Hospitable hosts treating us just like guest friends.
The location is very accessible from the port and connected to bus stops to go to other islands. Our room has chairs too, storage for clothes, and lovely view next to the sea.
There is likewise a COOP for grocery and basic necessities.
Truly appreciate all the talks and advice from the hosts including the tips on how to get to Reine! We also went to å i Lofoten and all possible within one day to return home by dinner.

Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
The place was extremely clean and tidy with lots of room. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, plates etc- it was very easy to feel at home. The private sauna was excellent and easy to use thanks to the lovely hosts instructions that were clear and easy to follow.
The comfortable cabins are located at a very nice and relaxing place. From the terrace you have a stunning view over the sea..
Rolf is a great host and also one if the best we had so far. You can ask him everything you want to know. The cabins are very good equipped.
Nearby you have many possibilities for hiking, you can do a fishing trip or just relax at the beach.
Rolf is a great host, very frindly and interested in his guests. We felt very very comfortable, the Cabins are very cozy in a calm neighborhood but still centrally located. Lofoten is a dream for every nature-lover.
