We had plans to watch the midnight Sun on one of the trials but, once we arrived, we were recommended by the hosts a different hike only known to the locals and we had the best landscape view of our lives above the clouds. We reckon we would have missed the midnight Sun if we had stick to our plans because of the weather
On the way back, after checkout, they drove us back to the bus point so that we could take the flight back in time.
Facilities were crystal clean: bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Hosts were always eager to help, we could borrow some food from them since we were running out after a week of hitchhiking

I can’t recommend this place enough! A beautiful house in an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts. The manager, Jack, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and helped guests in planning sight seeing, hiking or other activities tailored to their interests. The shared kitchen and common areas were great for preparing food and fostered a sense of community among the guests.

This was one of the most cherished stays in any country or any place. The owner Runhild is so incredibly welcoming and warm, she works so hard to make this experience and place special for everyone. The staff is hard working, kind, and approachable. The grounds have the best view in Reine. The rooms are cozy with warm lighting and a comfortable bed. The honesty shop was such a great added bonus when arriving late or needing anything. Overall, we would come back tomorrow. An amazing place run with love and care!!

Lovely home in Mortsund, located centrally on Lofoten with a 10 minute drive from Leknes. We stayed for a week and felt very welcome by the hosts; Anne Karine, Stein and their family were very kind and helpful with any questions we had. The house was super clean and gets cleaned regularly.
Our room (3 bedroom loft "Ida") was spacious and provided an amazing scenic view.
Despite the house being shared with other guests in four other rooms, we never had any problems coordinating the use of the kitchen or the shower. The living room is also very spacious so that there is enough space for everyone. Views from the kitchen and living room are amazing.
