Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Great place, close to train station. Hotel had lots of bikers training for race on April 15th. Limburg has hills. Great bus ride via de Bemmeler road back to Maastrict. Lots of campings by farmers, home stay, tiny hotels in a rolling green countyside
Got plenty of towels and even new sheets on the 3rd night.
We had a fabulous stay at a garden suite on the castle grounds. The 3 bedroom apartment was bright, clean and well decorated. We enjoyed renting bikes and touring in and around Valkenburg.
We had a wonderful modern room. Great hosts en the breakfast was delicious. We did also use the jacuzzi. It was a relaxed weekend. The b&b is less than 10 minutes from the centre by foot.
