Great and well maintained room with a perfect location. We got a warm welcome from Dan and had some delicious complimentary snacks to feast from. The bed was comfortable, and the rain shower like a nice warm hug. The lucky umbrella completed our stay, as we had to walk quite a bit through torrential rains. But that's holland for you!

The room was large and comfortable, with a separate seating area and its own small but clean bathroom. It was a real bonus to have a fridge as well as a kettle and coffee-maker. It's in a quiet residential street but an easy short walk to the town centre and seafront, where there's a big choice of places to eat. Our hostess was friendly and welcoming, and recommended a couple of restaurants. After we'd paid for an hour's parking outside to unload our luggage, Steffi told us where we could find free parking a bit further away. The apartment was good value compared with local hotels in August.
