I might be a bit biased in my review since we were alone in the whole place but honestly we really enjoyed it. The staff took good care of us and always had breakfast prepared (the breakfast was really good) and the room was very pleasant and fun. The staff kept the place clean.

A very warm welcome by the hosts, felt like I was a distant cousin coming to visit them. They were enthusiastic to explain everything about their place in Haren. On the property there was a small but lively garden which had a pond with tiny red fish swimming in it. Room itself was bigger than I expected and had a kitchen in it. Complimentary tea and coffee were included. For this price you cannot get a better deal near Groningen.

Beds were soft and comfy. The price is good.
Plenty of parking around the back. We were on the motorbikes. There is hard standing but no cover. There is a fence though where you can attach your bike to. It’s 20 min ride to TT circuit Assen through lovely countryside.
Breakfast buffet is included . Fresh baked bread, juice, cheese, boiled eggs etc.
But their best food is the hamburger I ordered in the evening. I’ve traveled the world and I can honestly say that was one of the best hamburgers I’ve had.
Their pub restaurant is the highly recommended. Which is nice when you are on your bike. You’ve got excellent food and drink on your doorstep step.

Very good hostel double room that had air con and a TV. Although small the ensuite shower/toilet was very good. Hostel included other communal areas and is part of the large Martini Hotel. Was allowed to bring my bike into the room which was a great help. The location was superb in the centre of Groningen. You can also have a reasonably priced breakfast at the Hotel.
I not understant questions , because IS Dutch and I speak just English. But everything IS good , and man in reception IS very good person. Honest and clever.

Reception was really welcoming. Thijs was greatly informed and very kind. Also his colleagues were all very very kind and helpful. I knew it was a hostel and was surprised to see the welcoming flowers in the room and the simple and functional yet tasteful choice of colours in the room. Functional bathroom, nice shower. Cosy outer space. Comfy bikes for daily rental. Great choice to stay in Groningen, value for money, even if you're no 18 anymore. Really great hosts!!
location is great. 50 m away from a beautiful park, very close to downtown. property in great shape everything is new and clean, perfectly taken care of. Wifi excellent. great hosting!
A home from home. Felt like locals living in a wonderful old Dutch city house. So much space and so nicely furnished and styled. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and the staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.
