really, really nice lady working there, she was the highlight of my stay here. wifi was super strong, AC worked great. felt safe because the main door to the place locked.

The property was very clean with great hosts who were friendly and helpful. We felt safe and the atmosphere was jolly and relaxed. We only wished we could have stayed longer. Basic supplies are provided at the property at very reasonable costs.
We loved staying at Caracolito ended up staying an extra week over Christmas and New year. Location is perfect and the staff and locals are super friendly and welcoming
The rooms are nice with mosquito nets, ventilator and in our case a quite big bathroom. The restaurant offers good food and a nice view towards the coast. Great place to observe locals fishing etc.
Second stay Jan /23 and now Sept /23 both times expectations were exceeded. Great hosts, relaxing atmosphere, great food, pool, and overall quality of the accommodations. Unbeatable at this price point.
Beautiful eco hostal on the beach. the staff are lovely, volunteer Julianne and surf coach Kelvin are the best. every bed has a fan, locker (with plug socket inside) and mosquito net. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, but there is also a shared kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. You can take a private surf lesson for $25 or hire a surfboard for $5 an hour, $7 half a day and $10 full day. Every day at 5pm the locals come to play beach volleyball as the sun sets. they also have a yoga deck upstairs with yoga mats.
Everything at Caracolito was just right. Very smooth Check-in and Check-out. The atmosphere is relaxed and very welcoming, and there is a pleasant mix of locals and tourists hanging around the common area facilities. Our highlight was the breakfast (included in our reservation), it is definitely worth a try. Also the surf teacher organized by the school were very nice and it is easy to rent surf boards directly at the hostel. Owner Matteo does a really great job taking care of his guests.
highly highly recommend! Catalina & Jose are such lovely hosts and were very friendly, attentive, and kind. they remembered some careful details (like how we liked our coffees, my husband being gluten intolerant etc.)
the rooms and the pool are clean, private and peaceful. great location too and a stone's throw from the beach. food was delicious as well, we honestly barely left the hotel except to go to the beach, haha.
