Very good value for money in an area where it’s mostly high end resorts.
Everything is as advertised- clean modern hotel style rooms with own little patio. And there’s a nice outdoor kitchen where you can make breakfast etc.
No direct sea views but beach is less than a minute walk from the property and there are sun chairs etc for use.
You have to walk a little to get to the nice part of the beach for swimming but no more than 5/10 minutes along the beach and a 30 minute walk along beach gets you to the end of the beach which is very secluded.
There is a handful of places to eat as well as a small shop in close walking proximity to the property in case you don’t have a car or bike.
Staff is friendly and helpful.

My wife has sensitive skin and gets itchiness if a bed is not clean. Surprisingly this place is super clean and my wife didn't complain at all for entire stay (3 nights). We booked family room it has 2 separate rooms, a living area and a kitchen which is a great place for family to reconnect.

Hosts, Didi and Nanthi, are very caring people. Didi gives a lot of information about things to see, places to eat, and activities to do. A very nice and spacious room with super comfortable bed, fridge and kettle. Owners are very kind and helpful. The location is a bit away but we had rented a motorbike so it was very okay because the surroundings are amazing with the greeneries and cows/ buffalos.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Beautiful. Very secluded but we enjoyed the beach that was right on our doorsteps. The food vendors were all locals so we had lots of authentic malay food. Overall lovely holiday.
The home stay had a very homey feel, with some lovely personal touches. The staff were absolutely brilliant - very friendly and helpful. We were surrounded by nature which was very nice.
Homestay sums it up perfectly. Suzie, Lina & Team gave us the warmest welcome and made us feel right at home. It‘s a charming place in the middle of the nature and perfect to relax. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was always super helpful.
We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's in a quiet part of the island so ideal if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. The room was lovely with loads of space and a very comfortable bed. Suzie was a lovely host and goes out of her way to create a nice relaxed and social atmosphere. There's a very nice pool and bar area and a beach within walking distance. I'd also highly recommend doing the mangrove tour, you'll get to see lots of wildlife and some of the spectacular scenery along the river.

Great location, right on the beach. Lovely hosts who helped us to arrange airport pick up and scooter hire. We loved being a bit more away from the busier parts of the island, the hosts made us feel very welcome and helped us with anything we needed. Great value for money
Suzie and Andy were very friendly and helpful accommodated all our needs. It is a nice and quiet location on the North of the island with wild Hornbills visiting daily (for any nature lovers). This homestay is very laid-back and tranquil with guests mingling around the bar and pool area, which makes it a lot nicer that a big complexes/hotels. We really enjoyed our stay there and are still in touch with the people we met.
The homestay area is very accessible to the beach and the host, Suzie and Andy were very accommodating to our needs despite being overseas. Will definitely come back.
