There are few hotels and homestays that take care of the guests, and be assured, Aayu Melayu is one of them! We were in a different city when the check-in time happened and we already got the pass codes of access to everything. Upon check in, the manager provided me with a guide to visiting Penang, nearby shops, restaurants etc. They gave complimentary bread, washing machine. They have a huge room.

The property is beautiful right the middle of love lane. We loved the cafe outside Daily Dose and went there everyday for breakfast.
The best part of the place is the hospitality. The staff treats guests with a 5 star experience. I have been in contact with Joyce who was the absolute best- she was very caring and sent recommendations and a 2 day itinerary, got my room cleaned when asked, the house was impeccably clean anyway. Loved out stay here!

Owner was kind enough to assist my parents find the homestay. Parking was not a problem, and room was easily accessible as it is on the ground floor. Room was clean, prayer mat was provided and enough space to accommodate one person to pray. Very quiet area
Water pressure is good. Location is easy to find. Quite near to nearby city. Have 2 included parking. Homestay owner is very responsive. Spacious since it's a 2 storey.
