The courtyard was lovely - lots of plants and seating, nicely layered lighting in the evening. It was a great oasis from the busyness of the city. The bed was very comfortable. Getting in and out was also very easy.

This was my second year visiting PV and staying at Casa Colibrí. It’s such an inviting and beautiful space. I really enjoy the terrace so much, and surprisingly it’s not pictured in their photos. There’s actually two levels, although I often spent my free time on the top. It’s my favorite aspect of the building, as it gives you fantastic views of the city while spoiling you with egg chairs, loungers, and plants in abundance. I love the deluxe suite (#3), where I’ve stayed both times, and it provides everything you’d need including a very comfy bed, large bathroom, kitchenette, living room and table for two. The staff are great as well, very available when needed but otherwise out of sight. I have recommended this space to anyone who will listen, and hope this review helps someone else select this beachside haven as their next home away from home.

I like that it’s in it local neighborhood but close to Versalles and all the great restaurants. The place has everything you would need; washer/dryer. Indoor and outdoor kitchen. A nice outdoor grill and plenty of refrigerator space.
The owners were very friendly and great hosts.

The apartment is beautiful, just like the pictures, kind of a new york loft feeling. We really like the neighborhood, it's mostly locals, excellent little local restaurants, a huge daily wet market. The building seems very well secured. There's an elevator, which you have to have for luggage cuz the spiral stairs are very, very narrow. It's definitely a hike up Nicaragua from town, but if you walk up San Salvador, it's easier.
Good location in the Zona Romantica. It is up on a hill in a safe neighborhood with mostly locals. There is a supermarket around the corner and small food stands around. Close to many restaurants, bars and the beach. The studio is clean, big enough for 2 people and has functional and new equipments (flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, washing machine). Maricel is a nice and helpful host, very responsive.
I enjoyed being with the locals!! For the most part of stay it was quiet!! Being on the fourth floor, it was good exercise!!
Being central to Walmart, buses, Marina & of course the beach!! Great restaurants & food trucks around the area!!
The location was very good, although there was a large mud puddle covering the road and quite a bit of litter at the nearest intersection. This was outside the property's control but it detracted from this otherwise upscale area. We discovered plenty of interesting restaurants nearby... all of them operated by locals. Some great food! The pool was a highlight and included lighting for night-time swims. Everybody liked the showers. They had plenty of room and the water was comfortably warm.
The location is excellent and the place is an oasis in the middle of the Romantica Zone in Puerto Vallarta. Very well maintained and the interior courtyard is a wonderland of plants and birds. Scott is a great host that clearly loves this place and wants the guests to feel welcome. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to the malecon.
Bars all closed by 1, no night life on the resort, felt ill and the resort was right downtown pv constantly being hustled by locals. Very expensive souvenirs. Lot of money spent off the resort.
First of all, nothing can beat the view. And being so high up the mountain, we would leave curtains open an take it in all day and night. Bed was super comfortable an if you needed anything, it was there almost right away. Fridge and small kitchen was all we needed. It was also fun being up in the locals part of the city but still very close to everything in Centro - and the Zone Romantica. Great pool area but we didn't use it
