The view is amazing, super close to the airport and the room is nice, clean and comfortable, the breakfast is amazing, with local food and great variety (just missed some protein options, but I guess that's how they eat). The village Mahebourg is a great start of the trip, you will get to know more about the island in a very authentic way!

Breakfast was good. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious.
The roofing made too much noise when it rained. The shower drained too slow and the water wasn't always hot enough.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
What a wonderful experience at this homestay! The 4 rooms on the lower floor of the house are for guests and the upper floor of the house is the home of the owners. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. I slept very well on my double bed. The shared bathroom is cleaned daily and there is plenty of hot water in the shower. The large kitchen made available for guests has many cooking pots, pans, and utensils.
The location is on a quiet street, only 5 minute walk to the world famous Blue Bay Beach!
Lovely outdoor area, pool was great. House was spacious and very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you need. Great location 2 minutes walk from the beach! Lovely hosts.
Manoella was a very good host. She gave us good advice regarding restaurants, car hire etc. The Blue Bay view is equisite and you are 2 minutes walk away from the beach.

The staff is excellent, treated me like family. Showed me blue bay from the locals perspective. Took me lobster fishing it was a solid time. I am only staying there next time I go.
