My husband and I stayed at the Palmeraie Guesthouse for one night en route from Marrakech to Merzouga. It provided a great place to stay and see the mountains and the Todra Gorge. The family that runs the guest house was very friendly and welcoming. We had an excellent dinner of Kefta Tajine in the warm and cozy dining area. The owner also advised us of a great walk in the palm groves right outside the guest house. We really enjoyed meeting Jack the Donkey and the family clearly takes great care of him! We will definitely recommend the Palmeraie guesthouse to our friends that come to Morocco from the USA.

The place is very homely with also a touch of luxury. It is very clean and comfortable. The interior design is up to standard! The food was very delicious. My family felt very comfortable. I forgot my wallet on the bed after check out and the owner came driving to look for me and my family at the gorge as fast as he could to hand it over to me. I was really grateful!!!

Our room was a good size the shower was hot. We liked having a balcony although we had to grab chairs from the dining room so we could sit outside. Wifi was weak. Lovely walk from the hotel through the coop garden area to the Gorge.

The service here was amazing! Ilias is a great host of this accomodation. With his amazing smile he arranged everything. No water in the swimming pool he arranged another location which we could use. He arranged a great guide Zaki for a nice walk / hike in the morning. And also thanks to the cook excellent breakfast, lunch an diner. Really amazing service here and we really enjoyed our stay 👏🏻👏🏻
Sayed was an amazing host and helped us with pretty much everything. From translation at the pharmacy for emergency medicine to providing us our best dinner in Morocco. We felt extremely comfortable and welcomed. The view over the oasis is fantastic, and you really do get to enjoy it fully from the balcony, and you get to understand the appreciation the locals have for the oasis.

This was a wonderful experience of staying in a family home in Morocco. The room had a beautiful view over the palmeraie which we were able to walk through in the evening and morning. The birdsong was amazing!
Omar and his wife were so welcoming, and the food was superb. We enjoyed an evening meal on the balcony as the sun set and probably the best breakfast we've had in Morocco. If you want a genuine Moroccan homestay then this is for you.
