We all loved our stay with Thomasha and his family, they were all lovely and helpful with anything we needed. Thomashas wife even made us a delicious curry and rice for dinner. The building and rooms were all super colourful and cute. Brilliant location to experience a smaller local village but still able to access lots of nearby attractions

the location is quiet and Bindu’s wife is an amazing host! She welcomed me with a fresh juice and I had a delicious dinner. the bed is comfortable and the AC works accordingly. also good wifi and a perfect coffee in the morning. Really enjoyed my stay here! Would highly recommend!

Amazing clean home stay located in a peaceful village nearby a lake. Run by some really kind staff who are extremely accommodating! They are able to provide everything you need and cook tasty meals upon request. Also have options to see wild elephants, visit local village, or go on a boat ride. I injured my knee before arriving and they also took me to see a special Ayurvedic doctor. Would absolutely stay again!

Even though hotel is located by the Ella-Wellawaya road, the location is very calm. Construction wasn't done in some parts of the facility. But the available rooms were at good standard. Good value to your money.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a good variety to the touristic places we visited before. The whole family was very welcoming and Thomashas wife cooked an amazing dinner for us. Thomasha did two trips with us (Waterfall and temple) for a fair price and gave us explanations and even hiked with us to the top to some little places where we could swim. We recommend the homestay if you want to have a real local experience in Sri Lanka.
The location is so amazing. The river is simply beautiful and we loved swimming in it with the locals. We got a free room upgrade, which was very kind. The staff was very friendly and they have a cute dog. We enjoyed our stay here mainly because of the amazing location at this beautiful river.
The room and bed were clean and comfy. The AC is great as well.
Wonderful location, among mountains, forest, rice field and river. At night you can see a large number of fireflies right in the yard, monkeys near the river, beautiful mountains right in front of the house and a rice field where an elephant sometimes enters. lovely hostess, kind and helpful:)

Biindu is an amazing host. So is his wife. It is such a nice place to chill,, see the local spectacular views and get a bit away from the busy tourist-towns. Bindu can arrange transport. This is a true homestay. You get amazing breakfast and I also had traditional Sri Lankan dinner.. Better than any restaurant!

The place is very charming, with a GREAT host. Off the beaten path for sure.
Note to visitors: trust googlemaps, ignore the locals' 'helpful' advice. Googlemaps will lead you to the archeological centre. Park the car, cross the street to the 'Pastoral Centre'. That's it!
Really enjoyed our stay at thomasha’s homestay, very reasonably priced accommodation which was perfect for our stop over. The owner was really helpful and brought us to Ellawela and diyaluma waterfalls which we highly recommend to anyone staying here in the future.
Very clean place, the owner and family take a lot of pride in this home stay. Go for a swim in the river in the morning. Definitely would come back. They helped us with local transport reasonable prices. Thankyou, great place to stay!
