Because we love this place so much we returned for 3 more nights after our yoga-retreat. Immediately we felt like home again. The room has everything we need and is always very clean. The hospitality and awareness of this family is just incredible. Anu remembered our favourite dishes and every day we got a different one for dinner. Same with the breakfast. At the end they even got up in the middle of the night to give us a warm goodbye and a breakfast-parcel that we didn‘t stay hungry at the airport.

Beautiful Villa close to beach, supermarket and restaurants. Its located in a quiet area. The room was spacious and clean. Good for working online if needed. What makes this place special is the owner. Very kind, always tried to help us and even giving us juices and cake (thank you for wood apple juice :).

- If you plan to take a surf lesson ask for Noah on Hiriketiya beach

The hotel is a great place to relax and very close ro the beach. The breakfast and drink selection was delicious. Our room was comfortable and clean. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The yoga space is awesome.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Such a wonderful place, at the seaside, cozy rooms with fan, different nice seating places for reading a book. The beach is great to have a morning walk and a swim later. Not crowded, mix tourists and locals, fishing boats… we extended our stay with 2 days. And then we have Milnini and her staff, what a lady and excellent cook, and taking care of everything you need.
It’s located in a village very close to the beach. The house is kept very clean and tidy. The host family are charming and you can enjoy a home cooked meal which was one of the highlights of our entire trip. It’s a more personal experience than many of the guest houses we have stayed in, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The hospitality of the family who runs this homestay is incredible. We feel so much home and welcomed there, so that we come to this place year after year. We also enjoyed very much the delicious cooking of our host Anu. She makes a superb rice and curry and for breakfast you have a lot of choices. We recommend the srilankan breakfast.
The beach is super near and so you can enjoy a very relaxed holiday there.
What a little paradise! The lovely host created a beautiful place to relax and feel at home. Spacious, clean and very well equipped rooms, especially considering the low prices. Also the garden is beautiful and very well taken care of. We stayed there for a week, reading at the pool and enjoying the beach, which is a 1 min walk away. Great breakfast and the restaurant offering italian dishes was a welcome change to all the rice and curry.
This is a small homestay which is excellent value for money. Leisurely 10 minute walk to the beautiful unspoilt Talalla beach.
Breakfast was good, we did have dinner (rice, curry and several vegetable dishes) here one night and it was excellent and exceptional value for money.
Our host was friendly and helpful, he organised a taxi to Ella for us at a fair price with a very safe driver.
Amazing view from terrace on a beautiful beach, location is just the best +Darshani is great host always ready to help you with everything. Same like her brother in a restaurant where breakfast is served-you can’t have a better view
This is paradise! The beautiful, quiet beach and the lovely host Darshani made my stay at Talalla Beach one of the highlights of my trip through Sri Lanka.
