The Rock House is the perfect place to stay if you're flying in late or out early in the morning. It's close to the airport but on a quiet street. The house is a beautiful old colonial building with a lovely tropical garden. My room was huge, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and can arrange an affordable airport pick up/drop off. Order the local Sri Lankan breakfast; it is so delicious. Great wifi too. I will definitely stay there again before I fly out of Colombo.

A fantastic place to begin a Sri Lankan journey! This place was beautifully crafted, creating an old-world, rustic ambiance with impeccable attention to detail to aesthetics and environment.
The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The room was beautifully finished with uniqueness such as the stone sink in the bathroom and waterfall shower. The balcony overlooks the front drive adorned with beautiful mango trees and other greenery.
Our only complaint was only booking one night 🙃

Lovely property very close to the airport. We arrived early in the morning around 1am and the owners were very friendly and had no issue checking us in at this time.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Air con costs 1000LKR extra per room, but we were fine with this.
