I had a fantastic time staying at The Loft. The location is ideal – tucked away in a quiet area yet still close to local attractions. The space was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
While there was no breakfast provided, the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare my own meals, and there are plenty of nearby dining options to explore. The atmosphere was cozy, and it felt like a home away from home.
I would definitely recommend The Loft to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Hiumi and her family were so warm and inviting, we really felt like home. There is nice outside kitchen and a balcony with a lushes view. Rooms are spacious ,nice and very clean.

The bed was comfy and it was really clean and spacious. You can see the ocean from the terrace.
There is a kitchen and a fridge you can use.
The location seems to be perfect for surfers and also people with a scooter. But if you are none of those persons you either walk a lot or take the buses which are passing on regular basis.

Great hosts, clean room and bathroom, made you feel very welcome with coconut water and a beautiful gift on arrival. We stayed in 6 different hotels in Sri Lanka during our time and only here did we have a kettle with tea and coffee. Would definitely stay again. Thanks once again.
Dev and his family were great hosts and wanted to help as much as possible. The house is a 5 minute walk to the surf and village. There is a lovely outdoor area to relax and enjoy the peace.
Our room was clean, the fan was directly over the bed where you need it and the bathroom was nice. We had a big bed with a mosquito net and slept really well here. It was quiet over night because it's a bit away from the main road. If you want to go to the beach you are there in 5-10 minutes. The Host family was super kind and we could also leave our backpacks here for a bit after checking out. I would definitely recommend staying here especially for this price.

This Homestay is a great location - far enough from the main road and train that it’s quiet, but close enough that it’s only a five minute walk to Lazy left and right surf breaks. Beautiful balcony area and lovely breakfast. We will definitely stay again!
Such a cute, family run home stay. Definitely one of my favourite places in Sri Lanka. Each night Dilip and Dulmi prepared a traditional Sri Lankan dinner and we had the option to also have fresh fish or meat with the meals. The homestay is within walking distance from Midigama and Coconut beach + the main cafes/ restaurants in town. I originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for over a week.
