The Rock House is the perfect place to stay if you're flying in late or out early in the morning. It's close to the airport but on a quiet street. The house is a beautiful old colonial building with a lovely tropical garden. My room was huge, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and can arrange an affordable airport pick up/drop off. Order the local Sri Lankan breakfast; it is so delicious. Great wifi too. I will definitely stay there again before I fly out of Colombo.

The property is close to the airport. It's is clean and spacious. The host was really helpful with getting us some water/soda water when we arrived late at night. His wife made us an authentic Sri Lanken breakfast which was absolutely delicious. Before we left, the host gave us a bag of fruit he grows on the property. It was an incredible stay and I cannot recommend them enough. Stay here if you need a place close to the airport.

Clean beds and bathrooms. We were a bit surprised when we didn't find sheet to cover the blanket, but realized later that this is customary in small Sri Lankan guesthouses. I'm sure that if you ask, the hosts will happily provide it (we realized it too late into the night).

The property was exceptionally clean I was very impressed all amenities were provided and had some extra snacks and drinks that could be brought at a small cost. Location was perfect for a first or last nights stay in the country, The host was very helpful picking us up from the airport and dropping us to the train station the next morning and just a great host all round! The best part of the homestay is the family, they are super nice and caring. The room is simple and comfortable, really clean spaces. 10 minutes away from the airport, so great place to stay before or after a flight. Great value for money!
The place is very beautiful with spacious rooms. The owner and his family are very nice and accommodating.
This is based of off my one night stay. Please keep in mind that all hostels and homestays in SL are devoid of amenities such a shower gel/towel/shampoo but this one had everything albeit the bare minimum.
