Everything honestly, the common lounge is designed in a pleasant modern fashion with nice tiles, a great sofa and comfy chairs, nice dinning tables, high celling, and the place is generally just wholesome, clean and inviting. The lounge as well as the rooms are absurdly clean, literally not a speck of dust to be found. I honestly don’t know how such a high standard of cleanliness can be maintained.
The view from the room and especially from the common lounge is incredible, wake up to it, smoke a cigarette, read a book, eat breakfast, whatever you may do, this view will enhance it, as will the great air (which for me personally is something lacking in many places in Sri-Lanka)
All facilities are as described, great AC, a big and modernly designed bathroom with a nice big shower head, filtered water, WiFi etc.
The European breakfast was very nice as well.
Maybe the best thing about the property is Fazly, the owner. He is very nice an welcoming, very polite and friendly, and instantly makes you feel comfortable. He is also very helpful and gives great advice, but very purposefully does not FORCE his advice on you, something which I found quite common and annoying in Sri-Lanka so far. He also has an interesting story, I definitely suggest sitting down for a chat with him. As a bonus he speaks English fluently and eloquently with a very soft accent.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is quiet as it’s outside Kandy. It’s easy to get into Kandy or back to the hotel via tuk tuk. The family who runs the holiday home are very kind and willing to help with anything you might need, laundry, tours, questions about the area. I was bitten by a dog while in Kandy and felt I had a family looking after me and checking in.
The breakfast is very good and there’s free drinking water.

We had the whole villa and it was incredible. Our host, Pradeep was absolutely amazing and accommodated us in getting our laundry done, rides, and cooking for us! He exceeded our expectations. The views were awesome too.

Fantastic location with stunning views. Very peaceful and the place was cosy, perfect for families. Great host and amazing communication with instant replies. There were personal little touches when we arrived that made it very special. The apartment is very clean and very well equipped. Would’ve stayed longer if we had time. Kids loved the big rooms and the balcony. Made our stay in Sri Lanka so much better. Would 100% recommend it.
