Set in a nice, well kept garden. Family were very attentive and helpful with my requirements. Fantastic safari organised, helped with tuk tuk journeys. Food was amazing, best so far in Sri Lanka. Wifi also worked really well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

It was the greatest place to stay in Habarana if you are looking for a budget friendly option.
The room was with a treehouse chalet. The interior of the room is perfect and well designed in an eco friendly way. The manager is so friendly and professionally helped us with A to Z.
There is a nice pool anyone can enjoy.
The food is amazing. There was a small boy who assisted with everything perfectly.
From the property to the town is close by.
They helped us with organizing a village tour that was fantastic. Per person cost was LKR 2500/- including bullock cart ride, Catemoron ride in Habarana lake, village lunch etc.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights stay at this hotel. The facility is new and well thought out. The rooms are very clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. The owner of the hotel is very friendly, arranged our programs and a tuktuk driver to take us around the attractions nearby and gave us some tips regarding the planning. Breakfast and dinner were huge portion and very delicious. We would stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

Jeewa and his family are wonderful hosts, they are very welcoming and the accommodation is nice. Jeewa went above and beyond during my stay from driving me in his tuk tuk to finding me cheap taxis and even a cheap tattooist. Even after I had checked out Jeewa helped me find a cheap taxi from another city to the airport.

Even before we arrived Sameera was very helpful and booked us a tuk tuk transfer from the station. The whole family couldn't have been lovelier, and everything was perfect! The room was very clean and spacious, the location was beautiful and peaceful and the breakfast was delicious! I recently stayed at Habarana New Star Home Stay for three nights and had a wonderful experience. The accommodation offers three rooms: two with air conditioning and one with a fan, all featuring ensuite bathrooms and kept very clean. The friendly hosts were a highlight, providing excellent hospitality and offering tuk tuk services to nearby attractions. The breakfast served was delicious, adding to the overall pleasant stay. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from town. Highly recommended!

We loved this property and would highly recommend it. The host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. He cooked us dinner each night and a breakfast each morning. Each meal had a massive spread of beautiful food. The property is extremely clean. It is close to Habarana to walk in if needed, however we didn’t do this as we were tired after a long day. We were delighted with the kindness and attention our hosts provided; nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts in the tree house overlooking the lake were magnificent and plentiful. We also had great home cooked evening meals.
The room was a great size, comfortable and the bathroom likewise.
We also were taken around the local cultural sites by our host in his tuktuk with him patiently waiting for us before returning to the homestay.

The hotel was beyond our expectations! Our room was clean, huge and with an obsessed environment. And the newly constructed swimming pool was amazing. The staff was very supportive and friendly with all our needs and the expectations. Highly recommending this hotel for a vacation if you are planning to travel to habarana and for the locals too! Jeewa was a great host! He was always trying to help and pretty much organised everything for us. The accommodation is very peaceful and the AC in the room was great.
We did several tours through him including Minneriya elephant safari, Sigiriya & Pidurangala rock, Spice garden, Cultural show and to get a Aryuwdric treatment. He dropped us off wherever we needed to go for a very cheap price.
The food cooked by Masha was some of the best we had in Sri Lanka!
It's a small, family-run home stay in a pretty garden. The host was exceptionally friendly, always smiling and making sure we're well taken care of. He offered us fruit juice and helped us catch a bus (directly from the road near the Sath Rest, so very convenient).
This homestay is in walking distance to go to a safari trip (we went with nature trails)
The host doesn't really speak English, but it wasn't much of an issue - his son helps with translation if needed.
