When I phoed on 23rd morning to confirm that I am coming the next day, they informed me that I do not have a booking and I am to look for an alternative accomodation.

Lovely stay, beautiful location, generous host family and delicious breakfast, the location of the Homestay is in a narrow path with other local homes, accessible by all means of transportation, full of trees and flowers, with squirrels jumping around, place is central but away from the noise, it is 10 min walk to downtown, 18 min beautiful walk to the 9 Arches Bridge through the forest, and 19 min walk to Little Adam’s PeakTrail. The room is so cute, it is a cottage with fridge, big bathroom, a lot of space to have 2 medium suitcases, hair dryer, bottle opener, tea, coffee, fridge, int. plug, fan (we didn’t even use it as the temperature in Ella is so moderate after 6PM, not hot not humid) so we slept like a baby, comfy mattress, this is one of the best Homestay’s I’ve done in my life. Dhanush and his family are so kind and generous, he gave us traveling tips and helped us with a lift to city centre when it was raining, his wife’s breakfast is yummy. Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely come back

We had a fantastic stay at Ella Dream Catcher Resort, where the owner Venura picked us up from and dropped us off at our Beragala cottage. He also took care of all our transportation needs to Ella town and other attractions, which was very convenient. This allowed us to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the resort and the lively vibe of the town whenever we wanted. We just contacted him whenever we needed a ride. We also hiked Ella Rock, which was easily accessible from the hotel as it was located near the trail head. The room and the service were excellent and we couldn’t ask for more.
Ella Happy View Guest house is located just above Ella Town, an easy 7 min walk along the railway tracks.

Everything! Loved loved loved this place, the family, the food. I have traveled A LOT and it's rare to come across real gems but this was one!
Unfortunately it rained most of the time I was there but the room was so comfortable and the WiFI great that I just caught up on a bunch of work. Absolutely no distractions or inconveniences.

Eisha and her family were so amazing!! They looked after us and our friends so well during a really difficult time when our friend was admitted in Badulla hospital. Their place is in walking distance from the hospital. They cooked the most delicious meals and they were just extremely warm and welcoming.
We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay.
