It’s in a good location close to the town. The food was authentic and so tasty. Most importantly the host was so nice! He helped us choosing what to do, had endless options and even squeezed us in last minute for an extra night. He even dropped us to the station free of charge!

We were kindly welcomed by the hosts, who were always eager to make our stay as nice as possible. Although Nilu was away for the first two days he was always available over the phone and arranged a great, informative tour around the ancient city and temples of Anuradhapura for us, which we enjoyed thoroughly.
We had breakfast and dinner at the homestay whenever possible, which was really really tasty and freshly prepared. We definetely recommend to stay here and were a little sad that we didnt have enough time for the cooking lesson.

A beautiful property with lovely apartments. The family took amazing care of us, the breakfasts were amazing. We met some nice travellers here as well who were travelling the same directions as us so we would meet them again.
The tuktuk tour with Ratna was amazing. Maybe it's a tiny bit more expensive if you book via the homestay but I can really recommend it and we got heaps of food everyday from the family.

Very nice homestay, with the most helpfull hosts. The guided tour with the brother mapa was very good. We learned a lot about boeddhism, but also had a lot of laughs. In the evening you can join the kitchen and learn about the sri lankan kitchen and all the herbs they use. Would definitely recommend!

We had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The host, Mohammed, was extremely kind and helpful from the very beginning. When we arrived he wasn’t available so he send his brother for picking us up for free. Additionally, since we had to leave early, Mohammed prepared a delicious takeaway breakfast for us, which was a much appreciated gesture. Ceylonima Home stay is a must! Mapa and Kanchi are the best hosts ever. Mapa is super helpful when planning trips or taxis (their brother is a great driver!). Kanchi has spoiled us with the best food in Sri Lanka. The room and bathroom were beautiful too! We highly recommend the homestay.
I had the most wonderful time at the Ceylonima Home Stay. It was my first accommodation in Sri Lanka and as a female solo traveler I felt very welcome and safe. I had dinner at the homestay the first evening which tasted great! The next day, Mapa gave me and my friends a tour through Mihintale. We really enjoyed learning about the Buddhist culture! Mapa and his wife make sure you have everything you need and the car ride to the train station is just perfect! Thank you for introducing me to your country😊

Great hosts, very helpful and caring. We had the best food and a great tour to Mihintale for sunset! There are some bicycles for rent at the homestay so you can visit the old city easily. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.
Probably the best home stay you can find around Anuradhapura. Hosts are super kind and super friendly. They will do everything to make you feel comfortable. They were waiting for us with a 😊 and after 5 minutes chat we were just family. Comfortable room with AC, fast internet, tv and a spotless clean bathroom.
They were even kind enough to lend us their son's bicycles for our little rides. And also food was excellent. Recommended for anyone visiting Anuradhapura looking for a homestay.
Harshani is a great host. She provided us with lots of helpful recommendations what to see in the area and organized a driver and bus tickets for transportation. The homestay is located in the backyard surrounded by lots of palm trees, so it’s very quiet. The room was like on the pictures, it was simple but very good for one night. We had dinner at the place and Harshani provided us some delicious Sri Lankan food :-) thanks for everything!!!
