Amazing host Frances. Takes care of the place almost single handed, very responsive, represents local community well. Generous hospitality. Opened up her house to us to watch the cricket world cup semi final. Made local mangoes available to us when she heard that we liked them! Felt like we were living with the locals in Laborie. Wonderful little village with great beach, and warm people. Thanks to mama Tilly who made custom vegetarian food for us. View is among the best on the island. Staying down south was a good idea, but needs car.

Bridgette is the most fantastic host I have ever come across and I’m more than satisfied with her and her entire staff service. I felt very safe in her property and the area is clean and all surrounded by gorgeous huge properties. Breakfast was extremely reasonable price and DELICIOUSLY FRESH!!! Her garden around the buildings are all taken care of and super beautiful.
Thank you very much for your caring full service. The taxi service was also top notch and luxurious! I enjoyed my stay here and Brigitte was just so lovely and a great person. I greatly appreciate everything. Definitely coming back!!!

Cletus and Anne, along with their airport driver, provided a warm and authentic St. Lucia experience from start to finish. Their property was affordable and came with a traditional national breakfast the next morning. I've been to 99 countries around the world and can't think of a time I was hosted by a nicer group of people against a more scenic backdrop as St. Lucia. Especially if your priority like mine was not to venture too far from the UVF airport, this is property checks all the boxes of breakfast incl, economically priced, and typical St. Lucian feel.

Our flight was cancelled and we had to find a place to stay and didn’t want to drive 1.5 hours to a resort. This small hotel was recommended. The front desk was very kind and helpful. The restaurant was not sure they were opening that night because the cook was not feeling well. We went off property with 5 other guests to a restaurant. We were all exhausted from a day at the airport with multiple delays and finally a flight cancelation. Upon arriving back to hotel from dinner we find out it’s Karoke night in the hotel courtyard/bar area. It is like an outdoor concert with the volume crazy high. Lots of clapping and loud voices. No ear plug would block out the extremely loud music that went on til 1 am. This apparently is an every Friday occurrence. Would have never booked had we known no one staying there would sleep until after 1am. It was torture.
Best View Apartments features free WiFi and views of sea in Anse La Raye. All rooms are fitted with a balcony with a mountain view. The units in the guest house are equipped with a TV.

We felt very welcomed by Ms Ruth! The place was spotless, although there are a lot of curtains, we had no issues with our dust allergy. We didn't have the 'best view' since the 2BR appartment is located on the ground floor but we were able to take a look on the balcony of the top floor apartment.
Just a 3-minute walk from Rudy John Beach and half a mile from Laborie Beach, Palm View features accommodations in Laborie with a shared lounge.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was large with an overhead fan and big bathroom with a walk in shower. Everything is nicely decorated. Our hostess/landlord Helen was welcoming and warm and had cold local beers and water in the mini fridge in our room waiting for us. She graciously gave us our own time in the shared kitchen and living room. She gave us pointers on local places to go and eat, which was very helpful because many do not have signs and just look like someone’s home and taught us how to navigate the bus system to go to neighboring cities. There was a balcony with an ocean view to eat at and constant breezes …. so much better than air conditioning! Rudy John Beach was a 3minute walk away, very private, with warmest water and waves that can float you away. The people in the village are friendly and we didn’t encounter any panhandlers or people trying to sell you things like other beach towns.

The host was amazing! I didn’t arrive until after 3am and she was up to show me around and make me feel very welcome. There was a community kitchen with fridge and microwave. In the morning I was provided coffee and breakfast sandwich. She even let me extend my check out time a bit even though she had a large party coming soon after. I am very greatful the host was so hospitable and accommodating. 😊

Mrs. Pat truly makes you feel like family. She was extremely attentive and available at any time. She helped arrange transportation to every place we were interested in and even provided recommendations. Plus the house and pool were so beautiful and peaceful, such a great stay! Highly recommend!
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Wencess was an excellent host! So welcoming, nice and overall great person so she instantly made us feel like home. The property itself is in a great spot with everything you might need! We felt like locals and it was truly an outstanding experience! Price is also very reasonable for what you get.
This apartment is in the middle of the hustle and bustle of laid back village life, you get to watch the comings and goings of the locals from it's balcony.
Laura is lovely and on hand when needed (she immediately showed up with a bottle opener when we needed!) We were made very welcome.
Everything, the apartment is very clean and spacious, has everything we needed. the balcony has an amazing view to the sea and the town, and great sunset views.

the beach is only 10-15min walk from the apartment, and it's a nice walk, and the beach is amazing, not busy and clean.

We only stayed for one night when arriving in St Lucia but Sunset Lane is a really pretty property with beautiful views of Laborie bay. The open large shared kitchen would have been great if we had been staying longer and lounges on the shared balcony overlooking the views.

What can I say, Laborie is a special place, it grows on you. The people are so nice.
The owners were really friendly, helpful and discrete.
Helen gave us a ride one day as we were heading in the same direction.
They let us use the kitchen when needed.
Comfortable bed with mosquito net.
Comfortable clean bathroom.
The view from the shared balcony was ok, not the most scenic view but it was nice to sit out there.
I would recommend this place for Laborie, living with the locals is a plus!
Helen and Ian were fantastic hosts. I could not have been made to feel more are home. Being locals, they were a gold mine of information for all that was available to see and do in the area and for the does and don'ts in the country.
1) Patrick is a great host and a down to earth guy, helped guide us to nice food spots locally. Maintains his property in cleanliness and order. 2) House is located at the top of a hill and during daytime you can see the entire south of the island! Spectacular. 3) Host takes card payments.
