It was fine, just a bit old and dated and.not cleaned to the standard of places I had been staying in. Fine for a short stay if you need to stick within a certain budget.
There is a pool, although I didn't use it.

The room was very large with a fridge and multiple tables and chairs and even a kitchenette. The location is perfect, nearby several old town hot spots, but surprisingly quiet at night even with a balcony overlooking the street. The owner is extremely chill and helpful, and even though the 2-beds room we booked wasn't available she figured out a solution for us with a futon which was fantastic. The WiFi was also very good, and the bathroom was pretty decent. The owner even helped us book a cheaper taxi to a tourist attraction using a local app we didn't know about.
Travelers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. These simple accommodations are in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
great hostel - rooms laid out well - lots of space for luggage. bed was so comfy one of the best nights sleep I've had in months of traveling. showers were so nice although were on the ground floor. staff really friendly and helped with forward travel. although not that social still met some nice people to travel around the city with.
Great hostel! Very nice private beds in the shared dorms (curtains, big lockers, light, chargers). Good aircon and felt secure. Staff were great, nice cheap breakfast. Lots of hostel cats and can book transport through the front desk too! Free water.
Lovely hostel with private rooms which we stayed in. The decor is lovely and super comfy beds! Location is really good too. They were helpful in pointing us in the direction for renting scooters & doing laundry. We extended an extra night here too and they were quick to help with this. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vientiane!
