The best place to stay in Vang Vieng! A clean and very spacious room, good bathroom, quiet at night and a good internet. Within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, with very friendly staff. They helped me organize everything - from a day trip to the lagoons and Namxay to a tuk-tuk to the train station, for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Everything is good. The breakfast is awesome. The view from my room is very good. We can see the balloons. The morning market is right outside of the guesthouse. The windows are sound-proof.
Not sure if it’s peak season now. If need to take train to Luang Prabang, better to buy earlier. I could not buy the tickets of regular seats 2 days before my leaving for Luang Prabang and needed to buy business class in the afternoon instead of morning train that I originally planned.

I came back here for the second time and it was the same. There is an additional thing: breakfast, at first we walked to find it because there was no website. This time I booked it with booking.com. My impression is even better.

Although the rooms aren’t as fancy as to our European standards they were very clean and had all necessities.
But the main reason i would definitely come back here is due to the extreme hospitality of Anna. She helped us out with literally anything, getting a scooterbike, booking traintickets although it was already sold out, keeping our luggage safe while going out for a trip and most importantly greeting you everytime with the biggest smile.

This homestay is in a quiet area about 1.5 km from the city center. We stayed in a King room with balcony. It was a shared bungalow (2 king rooms) right on the river with superb views on the river and the mountains. The room is spacious with french doors to the balcony that let you enjoy the view from your bed. There was a very nice breakfast included with the room. The owner is very friendly and helpful to plan any activities you might be interested in. This place is excellent value and highly recommended!
good hostel, common area is big and the pool is nice. rooms cleaned daily, even though after a bit its dirty again, mostly because of people in the dorm, at least that was the case in mine.

The owner was so lovely and welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Helped organise super fun activities and booked transfers. Our favourite homestay in SEA, would highly recommend. The location is a bit out of town (around half an hour walk) but well worth it for the views and peacefulness, and the puppies made it even better! WiFi was a bit slow but our sim cards worked really well and was nice to be a bit disconnected for a few days.
