We had such a lovely time in Mr.Shin’s home. He was very hospitable, welcoming, and treated us very well! He was eager to show us things about Korean pop culture, recommend places to see in Seoul, and even showed us pictures of his family. He served us barley tea and ice cream when it was really warm in the evening. And in the morning, he made us delicious dumplings and tteokbokki. The amenities in our room included a fridge, a drawer full of outlet adapters, a hairdryer, towels, and toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom is modern (not a wet room) that included a tub and a toilet with a bidet. The location is also close to Seoul Station, making it convenient to visit big attractions or go to Incheon airport. Overall, wonderful experience!

- The host, Mrs. Lee will go above and beyond for you. She was even helping me out on her birthday helping me book a super early taxi to get to the airport (thanks again!)
- The warm rooms (I am already missing warm floor heating)
- Felt like I had the place to myself (There were other guests but didn’t run into them often)
- Great for first time visitors to Korea like me (close to train and buses, close to shopping street area, super fairy godmother-like Mrs. Lee to help you out just a quick text away)

Very clean, great location & very nice staff.
I thought it might be a bit far from the action but it was perfect. A much better area to be in than Myeongdong which is good to go check out but very touristy. Theres still a lot going on near the hostel along Red Road but it’s a bit funkier with bars and good restaurants, lots of street performers and it seems that more locals hang out there.

I recommend staying at this guest house. The host was very accommodating and answered all the questions I had. It is within walking distance from the 6002 bus stop from ICN airport.
