Good sized very clean room. Very helpful staff with well above average English who efficiently arranged good reasonably priced tours, scooter rental, and onward boat tickets to Siem Reap. Free pickup from bus. Good reasonably priced food. Excellent value. Recommended. Their remorque driver Sophon is cheerful and engaging, speaks English well, and lived through the Pol Pot war. If asked, he will relate his own story...really personalizes a stop at the killing caves on bat mountain.

The couple that run this quaint establishment are lovely. They speak English and are welcoming. The small restaurant has fair prices for their menu. Staff were very helpful with organizing all of my activities to ensure I was taken care of. A very relaxing experience and recommended. Everything is a short tuk tuk ride away in BTB.

Amazing hospitality…Bun is one of a kind…he gives tips, shows you around if he has time and is an awesome guy to talk to. The house is on a very quiet street (good sleep) but if you wanna go out its a max. 5 min walk and youre in the middle of action (for Battambang relationships) Very modern, nice bathroom, nice breakfast (fresh fruits as i wished) Had the possibility to meet some friends of Bun…it was a blast!

The room I rented in Mother's House was like an oasis to come back to after a dusty day out exploring the sights around Battambang by tuk-tuk. The house is situated right next door to a good restaurant where they also offer cooking-courses for tourists with fair prices. The room itself is very modern, everything is new and functions well. Coffee and tea making facilities and small refrigerator in the room. I did not walk around the neighbourhood because I made use of a tuk-tuk driver to take me out of town for sightseeing (therefore I cannot comment on the neighbourhood, but what I can say is that Battambang is quite a 'dusty town'). It was perfect for my needs, though, in terms of comfort: 10/10.
