Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the lakes, Jamoo is comfortably tucked away in the adjacent countryside. Food, although extra, was delicious. The owners prepared a special New Years meal with soba for Dec 31st dinner, and osechi and ozoni for Jan 1st breakfast.

First, this is an incredibly impressive location. A beautiful home with an incredible view of Mt Fuji. We booked only one night, with the Fuji room, but wish we had stayed longer and will come back next time we are in Japan. What a special place - we loved the tatami mats, the green tea served, the cleanliness of the inn and of course the senso/onsen. The host was genuine, helpful, kind and so, so sweet. This seemed like such an authentic experience for two people who had never been to Japan before, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Truly a highlight for our trip.

Perfect. Perfect. Perfect.
Spent our last night in Japan after a week of travelling.
Had no issues finding the place, just use Google Maps.
The mountains views from the property were amazing. We were lucky enough to have snow set in after we had checked in. The space was cozy and warm, the bedding so clean and comfortable.
We took our own food from 7/11 because we wanted simple meal but could easily have cooked a full meal as they have microwave, oven and BBQ ect.
The owner was so kind and gave us a warm welcome and explained how to use the heating. Everything was labeled in English which made things super easy.
We really hope we can come back and visit again soon.

Hosts were very nice and accomodating for my motorcycle, allowing me to park in the garage. Was nice to be able to reserve the bath at a specific time (there were two private baths). Enjoyed the host's cats roaming around the house. Paid for the breakfast and it was freshly prepared and delicious! Liked the traditional tatami room and futon bed.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He speaks english well.
The hotel is way better than I expected. Located near the lake, near the wharf where most of the swans gathering, and there is a Familymart just a stone’s throw away
Cozy and well organised, except for share bathroom and restroom, which are supposed to be overload in high season methinks, there would be no complaint at all.

Simply relaxing to just chill and sit outside the bench, chairs, sipping coffee nice and slow. You'll be able to see Mt Fuji from the entrance if the weather is good. Quite a cozy home stay with everything you need really. The lake is the closest to Mt Fuji and about 12km to 13km loop ; mostly flat to run / cycle around. Go for it to see the magnificent fujisan from the other end. You won't regret it. The bus stop from tokyo / from kawaguchico is within 10 mins walk.
So cosy and comfortable, lovely host. There are two baths which you can book for an hour in the evenings for your room - really nice to have an onsen to ourselves! There are rental bikes for hire.
That's a very good hostel! Everything looks very clean. The dormitory was big, the bed was very confortable with curtains for privacy, the shower was great, the wifi work very well, it's 50 meters from the bus stop, 100 meters from the lake, 7 Eleven at 100 meters, kitchen for cooking, free tea and coffee in the morning.
The couple who owns this place are amazing, speaks perfectly English and will do everything to help you. Recommend 100%!
It is more like a homestay than hotel. Host was extremely friendly and welcoming. If you are a family that needs 6 rooms, you can book the entire hotel to yourself.
lovely homestay and very kind and helpful family running it. The host drove us to a stunning viewpoint for sunrise over mt Fuji which was the highlight of our trip! They made us feel very welcome and were keen to help us make the most of our stay. I would highly recommend to anyone!
