This property is what Japan is all about! Traditional tatami flooring with seiza style. This beautiful place had a wooden ofuro (bathtub) with an amazing view. From when Junya brought us here to when he dropped us off.. we loved every minute of it. This is a place to relax and really enjoy the natural beauty of what is Japan. Can’t wait to return in Winter!

Set in the tranquil, natural surroundings of Kutsuki, this historic traditional Japanese home is the perfect retreat away from the busy modern world. Be sure to check the meal option as it’s a delicious feast. Essential mod-cons are here, wifi, modern toilet, kitchen facilities, but most of all you’ll enjoy the crisp countryside air and warm hospitality of the owner. Recommended!

Me and my brother was there for a night to go snowboarding at hakodateyama ski resort. The host family is so nice and kind. The room is exceptional and very clean. The bathroom is beautiful. And great location.
