It was great proximity to the lake, although the lake was lower than we expected. Still a beautiful nature area. Easily walkable. All accesses to the lake and rivers were blocked, however, the park and trails were beautiful. The home was very spacious and the WiFi was excellent. I loved the technology on the hot water (it did take few minutes to figure out because we had never seen that before). The tub was big and wonderful to relax in.

The owner communicated with me many times before my stay! She was fast to answer, the room is comfortable and easy to find! About 5 minute walk from the train station. She even assisted us with getting to our destination early morning! There is Netflix and a comfortable shower! The beds are often very comfortable! Thank you!

Kai the host was super friendly and gave us some tips including a better hike than we had planned to Mt Takao. We went quite a jungly (buggy!) route but we were rewarded with great views of woodland then open hills. We took the cable car down and there was a cute souvenir shop.
The accommodation being on the river is very tranquil with the option to hang out there on comfy chairs.
Places to eat /bus stop are a bit of a steep walk so we found having a car helpful. Futon bed set up is reasonable comfort but to be expected. All supplies and facilities are useful 🙂

The property around the room was beautiful. The woman I met the evening of the 19th was pretty good at speaking English. It was fairly quiet and I could sleep very easily without a lot of noise. Spent most of my stay in my room suffering from jet lag, although did get out a few times during the stay.
