Sparky’s house is a fantastic stay on Naoshima island.
Breakfast was included in the price and was obtained 500m down the road at Sparky’s coffee. It was a fantastic breakfast set with coffee/juice included.
I stayed in one of the rooms in the main house. I had my own en-suite and my room was very cute with everything I needed.
The house had 2 kitchens for use which came in handy.
I was also able to hire a bike and luggage storage was available.
Also close to the 7/11 and Uno port and Honmura area.

Very cute homestay at a perfect location! It's right next to the Tennoshita bus stop, so it's very easy to reach as well as go anywhere from here. There are some small restaurants nearby, which is very convenient knowing the shortage of restaurants on the island... I also liked the cute patio outside...

The house is just like the photos and Rumiko was a great host, she picked us up at the ferry when we arrived and was kind to reserve the restaurants we chose. The bikes work very well, we were a bit worried in using them at first because we are not used to the electric ones, but it was easy to ride. The island don’t have specific lanes for bikes but we felt safe anyways. It was the perfect trip
Amazing location and we loved exploring Naoshima- need to get an electric bike. The place was lovely, clean and comfy with a roof terrace. Very relaxing. Lovely hosts. Simple breakfast. Shop just down the road
With the electric bikes included, this was a perfect place to stay and get around on Naoshima. The room was large and the beds were extremely comfortable. Aoi was a lovely host and communication was prompt and seamless. The washer/dryers were very handy also.
Spacious Japanese style house all for ourselves! Kuni and Akkie are such great hosts! They picked up and dropped off our luggage at the port so that we could explore the island/rent bikes freely! They also booked us a cute Japanese restaurant for dinner. Thank you for your hospitality! It was the perfect addition to our stay in the island. (Ps the pictures are not doing it justice, I’ll definitely stay here again next time I come to Naoshima! :))

It was amazing to have the whole house. Fantastic like home from home. The location was the best and the fact we could walk to the beach (yellow pumpkin) in ten minutes for a swim at 5pm was fabulous
Our hosts made restaurant booking for us and we sat at the kitchen counter with the locals watching our food being cooked in front of us
Johnny is a great host and incredibly helpful. He arranged for someone to pick me up from the ferry and made sure i had somewhere booked for dinner. His recommendations and communication was excellent.
I loved everything. Close to the Hanmura Port, great hosts and it was a beautiful Ryokan!

Lovely host who helped us with a car reservation for Teshima and info about which restaurants were actually open the days we were there. The house is right by the bus stop to the main ferry and 5 min walk to the other ferry port. A couple of good spots to eat nearby and the Art Houses. Naoshima is hard to get to and can be a bit frustrating to organise stuff when you are there so every little helps.
