Harumi was an amazing host, she made sure our stay in Okinawa was unforgettable. The house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations in every way. I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed than here, even asked her about it :). Highly recommend, but make sure to rent a car to get there and around the island.

Wonderful stay! Every spot of the house is even more beautiful in real. The host built the place in hand and we could feel the delicate touch of his kindness everywhere. The property is immersed in the forest, and is at a walkable distance from some little markets and restaurants. It has all you might need, especially if you like music (they have a great sound system and lots of instruments you can play freely). The host is definitely what we loved the most, she’s a wonderful and lovely woman who also offers to take us to the nearby bus stations by car. She prepared hot tea every morning from the plants in her garden and all our short encounters have been filled with familiarity. I recommend it to all who would like to enjoy some peace and nature.

Quiet rural setting… we loved the tranquility. The views of the coast was spectacular & waking to birdsong is such a luxury. We explored beaches on Kouri & Ojima islands, both accessible by bridges. Nature in these parts had a rawness about it - no boardwalks or sunshades, but lush forests, cicada chirps & fish swimming free with you. Our stay here was flanked by visits to Naha & Tokyo- a wonderful contrast. You’ll need a car to get to Stay Hotel.
