Beautiful wooden interiors, historic house, very comfortable with all I needed in the kitchen room enough for a family. Nice outside porch area. Laundry was very convenient. Host was very friendly and helpful.

The hosts are very friendly and welcoming they explained everything thoroughly, and gave great suggestions for nearby recommendations. We felt very comfortable in their home. We were only there for one night but wished we had stayed longer -they made sure we had everything we needed in their lovely house. Their dog was very friendly and adorable too! I liked how there was open spaces and cafe at the bottom of the room. I got to enjoy meaningful conversation with the owners and they were very nice. They are also very excited and proud of their property which is noticeable by the way they renovate and decorate the area.

Unlike other hostels, as long as you take the initiative, you get to know more about the locals staying in Kumamoto here through their frequent gatherings over the dinner time and they always welcome you. They even organised a takoyaki party for me and taught me how to cook it. Also inviting to join the bamboo shoot harvest! What a real experience that I appreciate so much! Highly recommended! Thanks!
You come here for the price and you fall for the design. Smart contemporary Japanese beloved by both locals and aliens. The cafe and its quite large terrace are nice, and the locker room for your suitcase is a good idea indeed. Last but not least, location is better than good.
Very good hostel. Clean, well-organised, clear information was given at check-in, comfortable rooms and all amenities were clean, comfortable and well-organised. Free loungewear was also available to borrow, which was a plus.
