It's an absolutely wonderful place. I cannot believe there is such a dreaming place ever exist. The garden is beautiful. The hot spring is amazing. The whole set of room is comfy, it has bedroom, living room with kitchen and bathroom. The shower room has tub as well. Owner pick up and drop off the day arrive and departure which is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is delicious especially sitting in the flower sun room with soothing background music. This stay is a wonderful experience with marvelous Ito exploring.

My friends and I wanted to spend time driving around enjoying beautiful views over the New Year’s holiday, then have a nice place to relax at night. This place was perfect! It was cozy, spacious, and a good place to stay up late chatting without worrying about being too noisy for neighboring rooms.
The futon were very comfortable and our whole group slept deeply. We all loved having the large public bath to ourselves during our allotted time. (The host was very accommodating working around our arrival time to schedule a good time for our group to use the bath!) It was the perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Our room also had a private shower and bath, but we used the public bath instead.
There were plenty of utensils to use for cooking. (Dishes, cutlery, chopsticks, ladles, spatula, cups, rice cooker, hot water kettle, pots, pans, corkscrew for wine, bottle opener, etc.) We only needed to bring ingredients, including oil and seasonings which we bought at the nearby convenience store. (There is a Lawson and a 7-eleven a 5 minute drive from the property, and others in the area as well.)
Finding the location was easy and there was parking available. The host did a great job communicating with us and made our whole stay so welcoming and comfortable. もし機会があれば戻って行きたいと思います！

Beautiful Japanese traditional house. Excellent facilities with friendly and helpful staff. Perfect central location . I really appreciated the character of this building. The kitchen was well equipped, facilities were clean & comfortable. The rooms were lovely but sharing a dorm can mean noise and some disruptive sleep . Worth it to stay in this lovely hostel though.
Fantastic welcome, lovely host. The bedroom had the most amazing view. There was no restaurant but we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in our room every night. The room was very spacious and the Bath’s were very relaxing. A fantastic stay after a hectic ten days.
Thank you to K’s house for an amazing time in Ito. We loved the communal spaces, so lovely to sit in and catch the winter sun and read whilst waiting for the washing and drying( an absolute saviour with two teenagers). The onsen was gorgeous and the locals so hospitable, definitely our highlight on our second Japan holiday.
Had a "garden suite" which was a awesome experience, huge room with tatami mats and the full Japanese experience. Also a balcony, which seems rare in Japan! Great selection in the dinner buffet. Several different onsen options to try.
Such a lovely host, very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was super cute and very clean. The location is in a beautiful neighbourhood, lovely and quiet with great views for sunrise. Loved everything about the JOYinn, would definitely stay again!!
