Hotels in Hiroshima were surprisingly expensive so I’m happy to have found this hostel. Most people seem to stay 1-2 nights so you’ll meet a lot of different people. The bottom floor has a bar you can hang out in until 10 and sometimes the locals stop by the bar as well. You get a free drink included at the bar each night and I enjoyed talking to the bartenders.

The hotel host is incredible. Kosuke (sorry if I misremembered or misspelled) really made this stay great. I had gotten engaged the during the night of our stay, and he went above and beyond to help us celebrate and feel special. He was also very responsive to any messages I sent before arriving for our stay.
The property itself is peaceful and in a great location. The private room above the cafe still feels romantic and secluded, and the morning’s breakfast provided by the host was delicious, and bigger than I expected.
I would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Miyajima.

It feels like a family. We were cooking and having dinner together 😊 I had lots of unique experiences by meeting the people in the village and talking to them. Acchan took me and other guests to the Sake brewery for a tasting and showed us around. I liked the experience so much that I cancelled my further travel plans and volunteered for a week.

Such a beautiful place to stay, very easy to get to from Hiroshima station. I loved getting to stay in a quieter part of Hiroshima. The guesthouse was so clean and quiet and peaceful. Phenomenal hike that's just a few minutes walk from the guesthouse that isn't too long and had stunning views. Highly, highly recommend!

The staff were incredibly friendly and the place had a family like atmosphere. Both the breakfast and diner options were delicious and well priced. The fact that there’s also a bar, which also some locals visited only added to the experience. Especially if you can speak a little japanese, you van mix with the locals. The location is convenient, as it is close to a station the peace memorial park, the castle and there is a 7 eleven just around the corner. I’ve been to dozens of hostels in Japan and this one is definitely in the top 3!

This was a great hostel to stay at as a solo traveller. Met some great people and wound up going to a baseball game which wasn't even a thought on my itinerary! Amenities were clean and the capsules had plenty of space. Mattresses were comfortable and the rooms were a good temperature to sleep.
A great hostel maintaining a traditional Japanese feel. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. Complimentary welcome drink and bar area were a great place to meet others and socialise. Location is good with a station nearby and walkable distance to main sites of Hiroshima. Great restaurant recommendations too. Definitely recommend

Lovely hostel with such a homey / community feel. The host creates a lovely, sociable environment in the common area that becomes a bar later in the evening. But everything is quiet after 10pm. A great environment.
