The building structure is beautiful. Staircase is quite dangerous, need to walk slowly. This homestay is not so recommended for those bringing children and old folks. Location is very rural, it's kind of hard to find the road at night. Host is Taiwanese, very friendly and she even gave us some welcome cookies.
If you are hesitating, stop and go book this stay! The apartment was very cozy, with a lot of space and pretty central to Biei. What made things exceptional were the lovely hosts. The hospitality and food was fantastic. Keep a little room for ice cream!
