Fantastic place and fantastic owner. Everything is in line with the opinions. Clean and cozy. Family atmosphere. Rooms fully equipped. In addition, the owner hosted us for a tasty dinner and gave us great tips for visiting Petra.

The family were extremely welcoming. We were invited into their home for light refreshments upon arrival. They helped organise lifts to and from the property at a moments notice. The add on breakfast and dinners were fantastic traditional home cooked meals. Once again we were welcomed into their home to enjoy their families lovely cooking. If you are to stay here, make sure to try the world’s greatest tea imaginable. Highly recommend.

You wouldn't meet a more friendly and welcoming person as the owner Bader who above and beyond to help. Good location next to a supermarket and places to eat and a reasonably easy walk to front gates of Petra. Highly recommended.

Petra wooden house is an excellent option for a stay in Wadi Musa. The guest house is really comfortable, spacious, functional and clean, and so was our bedroom (we stayed at the recently renovated bedroom with bathroom). Mahmoud’s warm hospitality, guidance (including about the visit to Petra) and availability to help were really appreciated. The guest house has beautiful views to the town (and the family’s olive tree garden) and is conveniently located in a quiet road less than 5 min drive away from the Petra visitors center. The cherry on top was the delicious homemade dinner prepared by Mahmoud’s sister (favorite meal from our time in Jordan) which we enjoyed in the rooftop area.

I like how the host Ali, care alot about us taking care of us like family. Welcoming my travel buddies and I with warmth and full of tips to go anywhere without being scammed 😅 Very clean place, the entrance itself is very aesthetic even tho its an apartment. Bathroom is so clean.

It is a nice place if you are planning to come into your room only for sleeping. The check-in was flexible. The room and the bathroom was clean. When I arrived, the door was open and there was no one inside. I called the owner to let him know and he, fully trusting me, told me which room I need to go to and just make myself comfortable.
Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Incredible host. Very authentic stay. It feels totally like a homestay Khalid and his family are extremely friendly and helpful. They have a big knowledge on the environment and the possibilities to visit Petra and little Petra. We had the most wonderful time with him. They cooked also a wonderful dinner. The rooms are big, still in development but surely enough to sleep and shower.
Mo was a great host. The venue is so relaxing. A truly calming experience. And the rosemary tea is to die for.
Recommend doing this for two nights and shorten Amman if you need to. This was a highlight of our Jordanian trip.
