Michella and Massimo have been very welcoming and nice. I've been lucky to taste Michella's cake in the morning. The villa is at the centre of the village and only 5min of walk to Procchio beach.
Even without a car, it's very easy to get there by bus from Portoferraio with the 116 and to reach other villages of the island via the same line.

Travellers on a budget looking to experience a place like a local will enjoy homestays. This simple accommodation is in a private home, where the host also lives. All facilities are shared and in most cases breakfast is included.
Claudio, was a great host and very communicative. We really liked the location by the sea, the apartment was very functional, clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable. We had a washing machine which was appreciated, as well as a nice area to sit outside. The parking was handy to the apartment. Thank you Claudio for the lovely Tuscan cookies.
Carola is a great host: She picked me up in the harbour and brought me my luggage there when leaving, there was a cold beer waiting in the fridge, she arranged a return ferry ticket for me & she answered all my questions. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen, including cooking staples, and is on a good location; close to the harbour and a supermarket.
We loved the appartment style and interior, exactly as you can see in the pictures. Lovely host! Gaia was super helpful with everything especial as our ferry got cancelled. Located Very close to the ferry terminal in a quiet neighbourhood. If you are looking for a place in Portoferraio and a little home away from home - this is the place.
Lovely hosts, the place is nicely decorated and the breakfast was amazing. The hosts were so kind and the small communal kitchen area with little treats and water was a nice touch.
Mama and Alessandro are great hosts and we felt super welcomed. They even provided gluten free options for breakfast upon our request. The place is clean, with all amenities, a huge terrace with an incredible view and very well located, close to the ferries and to the buses that take you anywhere on the island. Portoferraio old town is at walking distance.
