We were already excited about our impending stay in Nardo and then the day before our arrival we were contacted by the lovely receptionist offering us a free upgrade.
Our excitement heightened.
The whole experience was wonderful, we walked into the magical courtyard with its beautiful fountain filled with colourful fish and flanked with giant potted palms we were then welcomed by the friendliest of staff.
After checking in and arranging secure parking a stones throw from our room ( a huge bonus!) we were led through a door within a door and through another enchanting courtyard to our accommodation.
Well, what can I say!!!
We were truly blown away!

A blend of ancient grandeur and contemporary design.
An interior designers dream.
Every modern need considered and cleverly concealed so as not to spoil the flawless space.
Possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in filled one side of the room and a fabulous sitting room the other.
But wait, I haven't mentioned the bathroom!
A small flight of stone steps leads you to this incredible space, the room is vast with the most beautiful stone ceiling but the show stopper is without doubt the huge round bath which dominates the centre of the room, pass me my toga!
Everything about the suite is elegant and tasteful, adorned with a perfect combination of vintage and modern furniture, understated yet a feast for the eyes!
In addition to all this fabulousness throw in a private garden filled with fragrant flowers, lime trees, majestic palms and a swimming pool.
I cannot recommend this experience enough!

It’s an old property about 10 minutes walk from the historical centre of Nardò. Our room was very good with its own private terrace. The whole place was exceptionally clean and we were treated to a very nice breakfast of quality local foods. We were looked after very well and it was easy to communicate with the owner by WhatsApp. The surrounding area isn’t the prettiest, but it is easy to access by car and there is plenty of safe free on-site parking. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

Beautifully restored palazzo but badly managed - staff not very responsive and did not listen. Not easy to find and no one answered bell or phone- it was 39 Celsius heat outside and we were desperate to check in

Beautiful old masseria in the middle of olive trees, our room was really big and well furnished. Benedicta was a great hostess, the breakfast is really good with fresh fruits and home made cakes. It is possible to park the car in the enclosure of the masseria.
Everything - bed was comfortable, near to know spots, very nice garden with dog, which was lovely and just she welcomed us like a family. Maria and her husbend was great hosts, we get keys to our apartment, we have a free parking with canopy. Breakfast was soo good - hosts just ask us when we want to eat and prepare everything - cafe, jogurt, toasts, bread, eggs or some specialities from Puglia. Just great stay to very good money value!
